On May 26th 2012 the ICO cookie law (Information Commissioner’s Office e-privacy directive) came into force.
A cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user's web browser while a user is browsing a website.
The cookies we use are:
ekm_USERNAME – Temporary cookie generated to test if cookies are enabled on the visitor’s browser.
ekm_pp_USERNAME – Stores a unique reference to visitor's basket contents. Stores authentication details for customer logged in section.
ekm_tmp_ORDERNUMBER – Stores a reference to the visitor's order number after an order has been generated.
All these cookies are ESSENTIAL to online shopping and are therefore totally compliant with the cookie law.
We do not use tracking cookies.
